Warehouse Assistant - Position Filled

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our warehouse/production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading goods efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Operate a forklift safely to move materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Stack and organize stock in the warehouse according to company procedures.
• Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects or issues.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management, including picking and packing orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator license / certification (counterbalance, reach truck, or as applicable).
• Proven experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
